Join us for a two-part Adult Formation series exploring the extraordinary life of the Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray — lawyer, activist, and the first Black woman ordained an Episcopal priest — and the making of the icon that is now at All Saints. The presentations will be led by Lynn Gebrowsky in the Great Hall, August 16 at 9:00 AM: Pauli Murray’s life and legal legacy, culminating in her ordination. August 23rd: Why the Church honors her as a saint, and how Lynn transcribed her story as a holy icon.
Please join Roland Morin at 9:00 am, starting Sunday, August 30th, in the Great Hall for a series of discussions on the fourth gospel. Among the things we will discuss are the authorship of the gospel and what authorship meant in the first century. We’ll look at what makes John different from the other three gospels and some of the stories unique to John. We will also explore some of John's theology and how it can help us understand who Jesus said he was. All are welcome for these interesting conversations. The class will take place on Sundays at 9:00 am through September 20th.![]()
